VEX IQ Robotics Curricula is designed to expose students to STEM fundamentals within the context of building a robot. Without even realizing it, students will begin to instinctively apply these lessons to their as they advance through the program. This hands-on process, especially for younger students, establishes an intuitive and deep-rooted expertise that simply cannot be replicated by traditional teaching methods. ROBOTC for VEX Robotics allows users to learn key skills that easily transition to the real world, by teaching industry standard C-Programming languages used by professional engineers and computer scientists.

We will offer Women in Tech roundtable. The focus of it is to provide career development opportunities for girls. During the roundtable, the participants will have the opportunity to have one on one interaction with executive women from tech companies.

Our GI Career Discovery Day is a visit to a tech company. That day the girls will visit the facilities and tech women will talk with them about their daily work and their experiences in the field of technology. The GI Career Discovery Day is an important step in the development of a future career that helps introduce girls to the job opportunities available. Our hope is that girls are clear about what they are interested in and expose them to the realities of the labor market so that they have a better idea of the jobs they should aspire to.

GI College Day will be a visit to a college campus in Puerto Rico. The visit is an opportunity for girls to attend a class and lunch with current college students to experience life at the college.
